Chart Plotting is used to plot a chart on a map either for tides or route maps for the road and the sea. We will evaluate the 6+ best chart plotter below for your use. The plotter software is available as open source software for download. There are CPN charts available for download. There is marine navigation software available and this runs on a PC. You can use to download the maps to your PC and then use the GPS to track the position.

Open CPN

It is an open source software and available for download free of cost. It is an electronic navigation system which supports cartography and hardware interface standards. It is available on all platforms like Windows, Linux, Macintosh and Arm. It has full compliant support for official vector charts.

This basic mobile charting software is available on the Android operating system. It supports quilted offline raster marine charts. It is a marine software available on the Mac platform. It is used by a mariner to find the real time position of the ship in vector format S-57/S63 electronic navigational charts. It also supports navionics charts and Hot Maps from Xtraverse. You can plug your GPS to the Mac and you can view how the ship moves through the sea.

Sea Clear for Windows

Seaclear is a chart plotter which runs on the Windows operating system. Once you connect using a GPS you can see the position and other relevant data like speed and what direction are we going. It is used for nautical navigation. Unlimited routes and waypoints can be created and used for navigation.

Most Popular Software – TZ Navigator v3

TZ Navigator is used for recreational sailing and motor boat users. It comes along with one marine chart of your choice. The price varies based on the size of the chart. ROBOLAB for LabVIEW is an add-on for LabVIEW that enables you to run the classic and much loved ROBOLAB within a current installation of LabVIEW.

Notes

• This is not a standalone product, so a version of LabVIEW (e.g. LVLM, LV4E, etc.) is required.
• To use the RCX USB tower, some operating systems (e.g. 64-bit Windows 7) will require additional drivers to be installed. See RCX USB tower support for more information.
• The RCX 9V battery tower works on all operating systems.
• ROBOLAB for LabVIEW works on all flavors of LabVIEW after 2010 (but could be recompiled for earlier ones if needed).
• To support the NXT, the Fantom drivers are required. If you are running LVLM or LV4E, then these drivers would be installed already. Alternatively, you will need to install either “LabVIEW module for LEGO MINDSTORMS” or the “LEGO NXT Module” first. See https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-15615.

Installation instructions

Labview 2009 Download Free

1. If you don’t already have LabVIEW for LEGO MINDSTORMS, download and install it and/or the “LabVIEW module for LEGO MINDSTORMS” (or the “LEGO NXT Module” if you’re running an older version of LabVIEW). See https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-15615 for more details and links to these downloads.
2. Download the relevant version of the ROBOLAB add-on (below). DO NOT UNZIP. (Mac users: Use a right button click and select “Save Link As…”)
3. Download the installer (below). (Mac users: Use a right button click and select “Save Link As…”)
4. Unzip the installer only.
5. Ensure that both the installer and the add-on zip file are in the same folder (the installer will unzip the zip file).
6. Open the installer in LabVIEW.
7. Go through the install steps (it should start running automatically – this takes a while as it has to recompile everything)
8. Close all windows and restart LabVIEW.
9. Go to the Tools menu and select Robolab 2.9.4d…
